The businesses of Highland Park in St. Paul, MN welcome visitors to Holiday in Highland on Saturday, December 9. Sponsored by the Highland Business Association, the day promises the best of the season with strolling carolers, scavenger hunt, local shop promotions, story time, pancakes and photo opportunities with Santa. Here is the lineup of the day’s events:
Highland Café & Bakery will serve up free Mickey Mouse pancakes at Breakfast with Santa from 9 am to 11:30 am. Reservations are required at 651-698-3400. We will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots and food donations for the Neighborhood House Food Shelf. College Nannies and Tutors will sponsor craft time.
Story hour at the Hillcrest Library at 11:00 am.
Carolers from Highland Park High School and Highland Catholic School will stroll The Village from 11 am to 1 pm sharing songs of the season.
Find Parker. Search throughout our village businesses for the sly little snowmen waiting to be discovered. Pick up your Parker Passport at Menchies December 2-10. Turn in completed passports at Menchies by December 10 at 7 p.m. to be eligible to win a Highland Park Gift Bag filled with neighborhood gift cards.
Local businesses will offer special promotions throughout the day.
The Highland Business Association is committed to promoting, representing and supporting the Highland Park Business Community. We advocate for the success of our members by ensuring that Highland Park is a vibrant place to live, shop and do business.
Event will be held on June 1 and June 2 between 9:00 am and 3::00 pm each day.

ROCK your summer at the historic Highland Park Pool House
Join your neighbors as we kick-off Highland’s Summer Music Series on Thursday, June 14th with “Pool House Rock” at the historic Pool House ( Montreal Ave & Edgcumbe Rd ), Featuring local band “The Rivermen”, the music begins at 6:30pm, weather permitting.
This is a family friendly event, with a food truck and plenty of activities for the kids. Please note: beer is not available at this event.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and hammocks and gather on the Pool House lawn for an evening of music and fun.
Come for the Music . . . Stay for the Movie.
Stay on after the music for a showing of La La Land (PG-13). The movie runs from 9 – 11:08 pm.
The Friends of Highland Arts (FHA) and HDC are pleased to continue our partnership with St Paul Parks & Recreation to provide free arts-focused events for our HP community at the historic Pool House. We hope to generate interest in and support for the redevelopment of this WPA building as a place of arts and entertainment for our community.
Sponsored events at the Pool House this summer are seeking to generate interest in and support for redevelopment of this underutilized community space.

Jazzed About Highland – McNasty Brass Band will be featured at Jazzed about Highland June 21. Highland Park neighbors and visitors are encouraged to stroll down to Langford & Karls Chiropractic at Cleveland Avenue and Highland Parkway on Thursday, June 21 for Jazzed about Highland. Sponsored by the Highland Business Association and Highland District Council, this free event promises food, family-fun and the great jazz of McNasty Brass Band. Food and beverages will be available for purchase beginning at 6 pm and the band starts at 7 pm. Prizes and family activities sponsored by local businesses will add to the fun. Bring your lawn chair!
