The fun starts at 6:00 PM
Rock your Summer at the Pool House in June
We kick-off the summer with Pool House Rock, Thursday June 11th on the lawn of the historic Pool House located at the corner of Montreal Avenue & Edgcumbe Road. Live music performances begin at 6PM and will continue until dusk. Plenty of activities for youth of all ages, including art activities coordinated by FoHA, lawn games provided by St. Paul Parks. Food trucks and ice cream vendors will be ready to satisfy your tastes.
Celebrating Highland Community Art in June
Last summer FoHA artists designed and supervised activities around Highland Park, creating colorfully painted panels with a nature theme. At Pool House Rock, we will get our first look at these vibrant panels installed on the exterior doors and windows of the Pool House, creating an Outdoor Exhibition of Highland Community Art.
Rain Backup Plans
We hope for good weather to enjoy these family friendly events in the park. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and hammocks and gather on the lawn. Parking is available in several lots on both sides of Montreal Avenue.
In the event of bad weather, HDC and FoHA will share information about alternate locations for the musical performances on our websites. We will also post an update in the Highland Neighborhood Group Facebook page.
