The public comment period is open between now and September 20, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Formal public comments may be provided in one of three ways. All of the methods outlined below hold the same legal weight.
1. Spoken testimony at the September 20th City Council Public Hearing; OR
2. Online comment form at https://www.stpaul.gov/FordComments ; OR

OVERVIEW
As Ford’s former Twin Cities Assembly Plant is redeveloped in the coming years, a 21st Century Community will emerge on the more than 125 acres of land situated along the Mississippi River. This site will be a livable, mixed use neighborhood that looks to the future with clean technologies and high quality design for energy, buildings and infrastructure. This site will support walking, biking and transit, and provide services, jobs and activities that every generation can enjoy.

It is an opportunity for neighbors to find out about predicted changes in traffic patterns around the development, and to talk about how neighborhood interests will be addressed in the future. The meeting is a forum for the Highland District Council and City to listen and search for ways to mitigate neighborhood impacts before and when the development occurs. All residents are welcome.
