UPDATE MARCH 30, 2015

After the last Highland District Council Community Development meeting, a resolution was sent to the City of St Paul requesting that the site plan review for 735 South Cleveland go through the Planning Commission.  The City agreed and the project is scheduled for a Public Hearing before the Zoning Committee of the Planning Commission on Thursday, April 16th, 2015 at 3:30 PM at City Hall/Courthouse, 15 Kellogg Blvd, St Paul, MN 55116.

All comments that have been received by the Highland District Council have been sent to the Zoning Committee and Planning Commission.  If you have further input, please send comments to Donna Drummond or Michelle Beaulieu before April 16th:

Any ruling that comes out of the Zoning Committee meeting will go to the Planning Commission on April 24th for discussion and a vote.  There will not be a public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting.

After the Planning Commission weighs in on the site plan, there will be 10 days to appeal the decision.  Information from Michelle Beaulieu on the appeal is below:

Since the 735 Cleveland site plan is being sent to the Planning Commission, the appellant would check that this is an appeal to the City Council under “TYPE OF APPEAL”. The appeal would need to be filed after the Planning Commission decision is made, and no more than 10 days after the decision.

The Highland District Council will be at the Public Hearing with a resolution on the 735 South Cleveland development.  This resolution will ask for conditions on the site plan, and will include input from both of the community meetings.
