Highland Park has two corridors that are eligible for grant funds through the city’s Commercial Corridor Organization Assistance Program.

Apply for grant funds

District councils will determine grants based on criteria designed by the city.

Deadline to apply: Businesses can apply for remaining funds on a rolling basis until all grant funds are allocated.

Eligible projects

  • Corridor-wide beautification efforts, such as signage, flower baskets, and planters
  • Public art installations
  • Plans for corridor-wide programs and marketing campaigns
  • Purchasing vacant or underutilized buildings and land, as well as related soft costs
  • Community events
  • Corridor improvements
  • Subgrants for interior and exterior enhancements, such as decorative signage and murals.
