The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is hosting a community meeting on February 20 to share information about the environmental investigation and next steps at Area C, a historical industrial waste dump on Ford’s river parcel. Area C was used to dispose of paint sludge and solvents during the early days of Ford’s operation at its St. Paul plant. More information about Area C is available on the MPCA’s website at https://www.pca.state.mn.us/waste/saint-paul-ford-site. The meeting will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 700 Snelling Ave S, St. Paul (MPCA presentation at 6:30 PM, followed by questions/answers). Questions can also be submitted prior to the meeting by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
