Help alert your neighbors to snow emergencies

Because another snow season is just around the corner, Public Works is providing yard signs as another way to advise residents about snow emergencies. If you would like to have a sign they can be picked up at Highland Park Community Center (formerly Hillcrest).

We only ask that if you participate in this initiative, you consistently place the sign at the time an emergency is declared and remove it once the snow emergency ends.

There is no cost for the signs, and it does nott replace any other notification procedures; it’s just one more way to get the word out.

The signs read “Snow Emergency in Effect, For Info, Call 266-PLOW,” and it includes a graphic of a car hooked to a tow truck.

Hillcrest Field Renovation – What would you like to see?

The Highland District Council is working with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation to design and update the Hillcrest field location. We are in the beginning stages of evaluation of this project and anticipate the renovation will take several years to complete.

Your input is needed!

Please take a couple of minutes to provide input on what you would like to see in a renovated Hillcrest Field. This link below will take you to a short survey on the future of Hillcrest Fields.

Please respond by November 30th.
